What it is.
I specialize in creative residential remodeling, custom woodcraft, some furniture, and some other interesting things…
Philosophy
My goal is to combine free-thinking designs with good artisanship to create objects and living spaces that organically fill people’s needs and wants.
The business of karma, the karma of business.
To me, karma is the idea that what you put out returns to you. When I work, I feel that I am working on my karma. It is also a sort of guarantee to the client. I do it right because it’s my karma.
The concept of karma may seem to be in opposition the capitalist norm of making as much profit as possible at the expense of any other aspect of work. In fact, it’s not the opposite of profit, but a complimentary ideal.
It’s possible to make windfall profits if you abandon your human ethics. This is the worst quality that capitalism-as-we-know-it encourages. It leads to greater costs in the long run, when the accounts come due.
It’s possible to make profits while keeping the heart in what you do. I’m moving toward an ethical business model, one that allows me to make a good living while making the world a better place to live in.
Good karma means working hard to imbue durability, ecological soundness, and humanism into every design.
I want my work to last for generations, leave a light footprint on the earth, and make people happy.
Sometimes, I make mistakes. When I do, I feel the obligation to fix them, without passing the cost on to the client.

The pleasure of work.
Work doesn’t have to be just about putting in the day to get the pay. It can be a joy, something you look forward to every day. It can be a place where you find creative satisfaction.
Business doesn’t have to be solely about making money. It can also be about practising a craft, creating spaces of beauty, helping people to live more pleasurably.
Here is what I offer:
1. I am a good and conscientious worker. I associate with other good and conscientious workers when needed to complete your project.
2. I am willing to devote more time to do it right, rather than ‘bang out a project’. I gain personal satisfaction from doing a job well. Thoughtful design and careful execution pay off in the final result.
Government relations.
The company is a registered DBA in my name. I’m Sage Radachowsky, and I’m official: Home Improvement Contractor registration #141469 and a Construction Supervisor License #92611.
Experience.
I’ve learned what I know through a combination of experience and research. I’ve been working with wood all my life, and I continue to develop my skills daily. I have pleased clients on many successful projects, from a small piece of furniture to a whole room renovation.
